Bengals talk loads about everything! You may think I’m mad, (many do), but they make a fuss about everything!
They have a loud “meeoww” which they use at the most inconvenient times (when one is on the phone for example), and they use it to ask for dinner, a stroke, some attention and sometimes I think just because they know they can.
Some just love water, especially if it is a deep bowl, so they can make more mess. Oh, and always make sure the toilet seat is left down!
One Bengal we owned ‘Tweedle’ used to empty her fresh bowl of water out the moment it was replaced and then meow to let us know her accomplishment.
Bengals can jump! Some jump high, very high. One kitten owner rang to tell us her 16 week old boy had jumped six feet high to swipe a fly from the air. Clever kitty!
They adore their owners, following them from room to room, more in the way you would probably expect from a canine companion. When you get used to Bengals you remember to always check under your feet before stepping backwards, chances are there is a Bengal there!
Bengals are so friendly you can be assured of plenty of love, kisses, fun and the added bonus of a fluffy hot water bottle for your feet whilst asleep in the winter, that’s after you have removed them from sleeping on your head!
